Multimedia and location-based app for Tatry National Park in Poland (Sponsored by RIM & T-Mobile) This TPN TatryInfo app provides interesting facts at more than 150 checkpoints in the park. Learn about the highest mountains in Poland, the animals living in them, plants occurring here, and discover practical tips for planning and visiting the park. Learn how to prepare for the trip, how to choose a route, plan your trip and safe hiking, check the weather directly in mountain locations to which you choose, the weather forecast for the region, directing the camera lens to the top of the phone you will know their names, searching and scanning QR codes and NFC tablets on the trails, you will learn more about each park location.
- Supports platforms: BlackBerry 6.x – 7.x; Android 2.x,
- AR: Augmented reality Live, direct or indirect, view of a physical, real-world environment elements augmented by computer-generated sensory input sound, video, graphics or GPS data.
- NFC: Set of standards for smartphones and similar devices to establish radio communication with each other by touching them together or bringing them into close proximity.
